How to convert a CSV file into an Excel file

If you want to open a CSV file on your computer, please follow the description below:

Under the tab "Data" you will find "from text". Click on it to open.

You have to select your file. Go to the folder where the file is located. Double click or select "import" to open the csv file. Now the text conversion assistant will open. It's important to set the data format to text. For this select all columns and set "Column data format" as Text. Each Column is separated by comma. So make sure to use a comma as delimiter symbol.
