Vessel position not up-to-date?

Most up to date ship positions are generally captured by FleetMon's global AIS antenna network. However, when ships move too far away from shore their signals get weak and cannot be received anymore by land-based antennas.

That's why we offer you additional vessel tracking based on satellite AIS:

If a position update through satellites is available for it, you can use the update button next to the vessel position map to see it.
