Can I obtain the last satellite AIS position for individual ships?

Yes. Satellite AIS position polling is a unique service, which enables all FleetMon users to retrieve satellite AIS data without any commitment to long-term contracts or basic subscription fees.

In case a ship is sailing out of terrestrial tracking range, you will find the update button next to the vessel location map on the vessel's detail page. Click on "One-time Satellite Update" to acquire a single position update for the ship through satellites or the 14 days update if needed.
